In the Diary Actions Setup screen, there is a field at the bottom right labelled ‘Settings’.   

If DefaultBranchOrigin is placed in that field, the diary action will always look at the Origin code from the Details tab of Removals Management to see if it is setup with a branch.  If it is then the diary action will default to that branch.   

If DefaultBranchDestination is placed in that field, the diary action will always look at the Destination code from the Details tab of Removals Management to see if it is setup with a branch.  If it is then the diary action will default to that branch.
