General Ledger Setup – Custom Report

General Ledger-specific reports are available from the Moveware Reports menu. However, custom reports can be created right from within the General Ledger module in order to suit different reporting requirements from company to company.

How to Create a Custom General Ledger Report

  1. Navigate to General Ledger > General Ledger Setup > Custom Report tab.
  2. Select Add and enter the report information:

    Code Value is the abbreviated name or code of the report.
    Description is the full name of the report.
    Comments can be entered about the report if desired.

    Select the [] icon and choose the accounts that you want included in the report.

  3. Run the report from within designated general ledger reports by
    selecting the Custom Report in report filters.
