Moveware performs a code release monthly. The schedule below details the general guideline of each release. For additional information, please consult your Moveware Administrator.
Release Schedule Details
Moveware currently has a monthly cycle where we release the month’s version to all clients by the end of the second week of the month, the first week being the first Tuesday of the month.
During the same cycle we also have the development cycle, which is development and testing of code for the next month’s code release.
Week 1:
Release Cycle:
- Code release begins for the month to clients who are part of the early release program.
Development Cycle:
- Requests for the next month’s release is scoped and finalised. Development commences.
Week 2:
Release Cycle:
- Moveware code release is completed to all clients.
Development Cycle:
- Development continues.
Week 3:
Release Cycle:
- Moveware Code updates continue.
Development Cycle:
- In house testing of the upcoming code release. Clients with Beta code have the code updated to next month’s release.
- Release Notes for the next version are sent and published on Moveware Wiki website.
- Account managers review client development requests: scope, quote and flags requests that should be included in next month’s development cycle.
Week 4:
Release Cycle:
- Moveware Code updates continue.
- Cut-off date for client requests to be included in the development list for the next release.
Development Cycle:
- Resolve any issues that have come out of the in-house testing.
- Account managers review client development requests: scope, quote and flags requests that should be included in next month’s development cycle.
