Set up Timesheets

The Weekly Timesheet window is populated with labour data from the Operations Daily Diary. In order for the Weekly Timesheet to contain data and be relevant to operations the diary must be used and completed daily, especially for entering labour details. Labour details may also be entered from the Resources tab of the Removals Management module, or entered directly into the Weekly Timesheet window.

In order to set up and use Timesheets, labour rates will need to be added in the Employees > Labour Rates screen.

How to Set up a Timesheet

Navigate to Operation > Timesheets > Allocation.

You can either add a Job to the Employee or other time.

If adding a new job, click Add on the bottom of the screen. From the pop-up screen, pick the relevant job.

Subsequently, add the hours. These will flow through to categories T1, T2 and T3 based on rates set in the Labour Rates screen.

Click the Post   button to update the information to Payroll. To include an extra security measure preventing the day being modified for each employee, click the Lock Day button.

When preparing jobs for the next day, it is good practice to assign all labour to the jobs. The Job Sheet for each job may also be printed. It is also recommended to adjust the labour and hours worked when processing paperwork from previous days.

The Default Labour and Vehicles to Confirmed parameter must be set to Y to negate the need to confirm the Labour and Vehicles for each job as you assign them.
