Add a New Move in MovePartner

New Moves may be added by any employee with web access.

To add a new move:

  1. Navigate to Moves > Add New Move in the menu.
  2. Select the type of quote at the top of the page.
  3. Fill in the required relocatee, origin and destination details.
  4. Depending on the structure of the quote form selected enter details such as items to be moved, insurance and packing requirements.
  5. Click the Submit Details button.

Your quote form may contain a Pick List or a Manual Inventory. Items entered in these sections are used by your moving company to generate your quote.

To create an inventory from a Pick List:

  1. Click the required room in the Room Pick List.
  2. Click the required items in the Item Pick List. Items will be added to the Selected Items list.
  3. If an item is not listed, enter it in the Other field at the bottom of the Pick List, enter the Quantity and click Add.
  4. Repeat for as many rooms as necessary.
