The rate of a consignment is based on the volume or weight of the items to be shipped and the destination.

How to Enter a Rate:

1. Ensure that the client details and items of the consignment are entered.
2. Click the Add button at the bottom right of the Details tab.
3. A list of cost options based on the volume/weight and destination of the consignment is displayed (e.g. Air, Air Express and Sea).
4. Select all suitable cost options in the Job Type Creator window and click OK. Click OK to confirm the Job Type creation is complete.

1. The selected cost options are added to the rates section at the bottom of the Details tab.
2. Navigate to the Costing tab and modify the cost options as required (e.g. add a charge). Click the Save button at the bottom right.  Enter any notes about the cost option in the Details field at the bottom of the tab.  Click Save.
