The Branch Management window is used to set up Branch Records within Moveware and to update and maintain information as required.  Because Branches are a critical element in the setup and operation of Moveware, please contact our support team for assistance before adding a new branch.

The Branch structure is a key area within Moveware and most modules use this structure extensively. Each user has a default Branch setting which determines their access, the default views they receive, and some of the parameters by which they use the Moveware System.  

Moveware caters for multiple branches, however, a branch is allocated to only one company.  Each company in Moveware may have several branches but each must have a unique General Ledger code.

Note: Branches are used in the creation of the Company G/L Chart and is used on many of the standard reports that Moveware produces.  Please ensure that you keep branch records up to date and take care when modifying them as they are critical to the operation of many parts of the system.
