Mobi Release Notes April 2025

MOS-20017	Updated Packing material lookup so that it can be now re-sorted. Previously they were displaying in order of creation which was not very intuitive. Now items with a sort number will display at the top (in order of sort number) and items without a sort number will display beneath (in alphabetical order). Items with the same sort number will sort alphabetically.	No change in usage
MOS-18434	We added a version check in Mobi that will prompt users to update app versions if they are running on an outdated version. This will ensure they are always running on the latest code. This version check can be controlled through the below setting: Code Value: VersionUpdatePrompt Description: Version Update Prompt Answers: Yes/No Parent: User Comments: Checks for the latest version on the stores and prompts user to update. For ‘Yes’, the check will happen when the app is resuming from the background or restarted. For ‘No’, there will not be a version check. If the setting is not set, when the app is first installed, if there is a new version, it will display the prompt (with Yes and Later buttons). The prompt will not display when the app is resuming from the background or restarted.	No Change in usage required
MOS-19186	Added the ability to show only the "Special" section on Local reports. To do this, in the Mobi code field, under the sections line, add "Special". Previously this could only work when the inventory section also existed but now they can be shown independent of one another. Added the ability to show extra inventory details against special items. The existing parameter "extraInventoryfield" will now also apply to the inventory in the special section. Added the ability to remove the inventory section from hardcoded reports. This can be done by adding "^Inventory" into the sections options.	No change in usage.
MOS-16829	Previously, packing materials added through the inventory screen could not be edited in the materials screen in Mobi. Users had to update the quantity from the inventory screen or add new packing items on the materials screen. We've improved this so that users can now update these materials directly from the materials screen.	Packing materials added via the inventory screen (or inventory tab in Moveware) can now be edited directly from the materials screen saving the user time from navigating between screens.
MOS-21206	Previously a single corrupted PDF file would prevent all PDF's from syncing through to Moveware and could cause Mobi to crash. We've made an update to isolate problem files from the sync and display an error message for that particular file while allowing other files to send.	No change in usage required.
MOS-22279	Added a new setting to skip Job Sync at login. This speeds up the login process and users will get access to their jobs when they access the job/Diary screen where the jobs automatically refreshes anyway. Type: Setting Code: SkipJobFileSyncAtLogin Description: Skip Job and File Syncs At Login Answers: Yes,No Default Answer: No Parent: Syncing Control Type: Toggle	If setting is turned on, then users will get their jobs from the Job Search Screen or Diary Search Screen. They would need to access one of these screens anyway to select their Job/Diary action to work on.
MOS-22246	Removed tag# validation to keep Mobi consistent with Moveware.	The set start number options (Tag#, Lot#, Lot Colour, Barcode) fields are no longer mandatory.
MOS-20987	Fixed container barcode scanning	No change in usage.
MOS-20618	Previously new furniture items could be added to the standard furniture list by setting locations in the check off screen. This has been removed so that the standard furniture list can only be amended in Moveware. Functionality for once off new items remains unchanged.	No change in usage
MOS-20455	Fixed validation bug when using setting "Disable ability to change Inventory item Tag numbering" and making changes in both estimated to actual inventory.	No change in usage required.
MOS-20303	Fixed display of content details when adding contents automatically as cartons are added. Previously only the save button would show the content details, now the save and add button show these details.	No change in usage required.
