Place an Invoice on Hold

An Invoice may be put on hold until charging details are confirmed. A hold is put on an Invoice from the Customer Invoicing module, and must be placed on an invoice that is in status N. 


How to Place an Invoice on Hold

  1. Find the required Invoice use the search boxes to filter the Invoice records and select the invoice. See Search for Invoices for further details. 

  2. Select the Hold button.


     
  3. A pop-up window will open to confirm the Hold. Click Yes. 

  4. The Invoice total will be highlighted in Yellow, have the status changed to H, and removed from most invoice reports (unless report is filtered specifically for status H) until the hold is lifted. 

To take an Invoice off hold: Follow the steps above for putting an invoice on hold to reverse the hold.
