Set a Custom Report

The Moveware reports module allows you to save custom versions of reports with the filters filled in the way you like it.  For instance, if you are commonly running a report for yourself as a sales rep, and having to enter your initials in the Sales Representative filter before running the report, you can save a version with the Sales Rep field already populated with your initials.


How to Set a Custom Report (Example)

Using the Job Summary Report as an example, let’s take a look at how we can configure this report into a custom report based on our desired filters and setup.

  1. Add the report filters required – in this case I wish to see any ‘IM/EX’ (Import/Export) Jobs that user MWA has created that are being Uplifted this week for Branches ‘MEL/SYD’.



  2. Press the Save Defaults button.

  3. Press Yes to the following prompt:



  4. Enter a description of the custom report and press OK. Note: The name of the reports must be unique to the user.  For example, a user is unable to have multiple reports with the same description.



  5. Success!



  6. Now, the custom report you have configured will appear accordingly:
