Add a New Customer from a Job

When entering the details of a new Job/Removal, the uplift or delivery client information can be used to create a new Customer.  To enable this option, a system parameter must be configured.

Go to Administration > System Setup > System Parameters > Codes tab. Ensure that the “Allow Quick Add of Customer/Debtor From Removals Management” parameter is set to Y.


How to Add a New Customer from a Job:

  1. Enter the details of a new job as usual in the Details tab of the Jobs Management module.

  2. Click the Save button to save the job details.

  3. Click the Add Customer icon next to the location suburb field on either the Uplift side or the Delivery side.



  4. The Customer Management module is opened, with the Details tab populated from the Job uplift or delivery information.

  5. Enter additional information about the Customer.

  6. Click Save and then Exit to return to the Jobs Management module.
