Parsifal PRISM Interface – Service Order Initiations
Moveware will poll PRISM every x minutes (as defined in System Settings) to determine if new Parsifal PRISM Orders are available. The ‘last successful polling’ timestamp will be passed in to limit the response to new Orders only. When a new Order is available, Moveware will validate the Order’s Country Codes and Agents to ensure they exist in Moveware. If validation fails, Users will be notified of the issue and can rectify it. If it all passes validation, the new Job is created in Moveware.
When a new Job is created, the User(s) set in Employee Notify will receive an Alert that says “New Parsifal Job”.
These Users will also receive an Alert if the Job creation was unsuccessful.
Once the new Job is created, Moveware will immediately call Parsifal to get more detailed information about the Parsifal PRISM Order, then apply that information to the newly created Job. The User(s) set in Employee Notify will also receive an Alert that says “Parsifal Job Updated”.
The new Job will be created using the Branch and Bill To defined in the Parsifal section of Codes Management. The Cost Centre of the new Job will be PAR. Upon review of the new Job, these can be changed by the User. Refer to System Settings for information on how to change these default values.
A new Job will create a .txt file in the Directory of the Job, which contains detailed information about the data received from PRISM. This can aid with Troubleshooting.
