Post a Recurring Journal

Once a Recurring Journal is created from a Recurring Journal Template, it can be posted from the New tab of the General Ledger Journals window.

How to Post a Recurring Journal:

  1. Navigate to General Ledger > Journals in the main menu.
  2. Navigate to the New tab and click the Use Recurring button. Select a Recurring Journal Template from the Recurring Journals window and click OK.
  3. Edit the Date, Reference, Name, Description and Debit, Credit and Tax amounts of the Journal as required Journals and modify as required. Extra Journal Entries can be added by clicking the Add button at the bottom of the tab.
  4. Once all details of the new Recurring Journal are correct, click the Post Journal button. A General Journal (GJ) is created.
