Un-posting a Journal changes the status of the Journal from U to N and updates the balance records of the affected General Ledger accounts.
Note: To reverse a Journal you must have access to security group %.
How to Un-Post a Journal
- Navigate to General Ledger > Journals in the main menu.
- From the General Ledger Journals window select the Journal to be edited and click the Un-post tool [
]. - The Journal status will be changed to N (for not posted) and the account balances are recalculated.
The Journal may now be modified and reposted. See Modifying a Journal for more information.
