We have added a new Branch field to Currency Import so users can now include Branch when importing currency.

New System Parameter – Only allow users in specified security group to change the date of an Operation Diary

A new System Parameter has been added, that will only allow users in specified security groups to change the date of an operation diary action in a job on the status Won. If the operation diary action date is empty, users that are not part of the security group can still add the date to the action. The same also applies for uplift, delivery and packing dates in removal details.
The idea is that only authorized users can change the operation diary action date, but anyone can still add a date to the action if it has not had one yet.

Default: Blank means no security group restrictions is being applied.

Users can enable the System Parameter by assigning the security group letter(s) in the ‘Options’ field. Then under the following two conditions, the date field of operation diary actions will become read-only:

1. The user is not in the security group assigned in the System Parameter’s ‘Options’ field.
2. The operation diary action already has a date assigned.

The uplift, delivery, and packing dates in job’s details will also become read-only under the same conditions.

New System Parameter – Default Sort Order for Debtor Invoice Update screen
A new System Parameter has been added to enable the ability to customize the sort order on the Invoice Update screen.

Users can enable the System Parameter ”Default Sort Order for Debtor Invoice Update Screen” and add the value they would like to be set as the default sort order on the Invoice Update screen which is [Column index] + [” for ascending, ‘D’ for descending]. For example, if the  System Parameter is set to 1D, the system will sort the values in column 1 (Invoice Number) in descending order. On the other hand, if set to 1, the invoice numbers will be sorted in ascending order.

Below are examples of the available sort orders:
1 – Sort by Invoice # ascending
1D – Sort by Invoice # descending
2 – Sort by Date ascending
2D – Sort by Date descending
3 – Sort by R/Plan #  ascending
3D – Sort by R/Plan # descending

Enhancement – Report Lookup – Increased Width of Comment/Description fields


Previously, when linking a Diary Action to a report or vice versa, the lookup window did not show the full code name. This could be difficult for the user to differentiate which one to link. We have now extended the browser width to see more details.

Administration > Company Setup > Diary Action Setup screen, double-click into the ‘Report Name’ field.
Administration > System Setup > Report Configuration screen > double-click into the ‘Action’ field.

Enhancement – Added button to move contact to another Creditor/Customer/Agent record
We have added a new ‘arrow’ button to the Customer Contact, which will allow the user to move an existing customer/supplier/agent contact record to another record.

Previously, there was no such button and in case a contact was changing the company, the contact had to be deleted and re-added in the corresponding record. 


Customer Management > contact browser screen:

1. Double-click on a record you want to move > click on the blue arrow button
2. Pop-up ”Do you wish to move this contact to another Customer?” > Yes
3. Customer Lookup pops up > select the customer record where the contact should be moved to > Ok
4. Pop-up ”Are you sure you wish to move this Contact to another Customer?” > Yes
5. Save

The previous contact has now been moved to the selected record.
The same scenario will apply on the Supplier Management and Agent Management screen.

New System Parameter – Copy Debtor Clears Def Bank Acct, Product, CRM, Pricing, Creditor and Agent field


A new System Parameter has been added to clear certain fields on copying a customer record.

Previously, Moveware would keep details of the company being copied from. Note that if you leave the field cleared and press save, it will default some of the fields to itself which is the desired effect.

Added new filters for Fleet Management’s Purchasing tab
New search filters have been added for columns in Fleet management’s Purchasing tab. 

On the Fleet Management screen > Purchasing tab, users can now search records by ‘Billing’, ‘Name’, ‘Their Ref’, ‘Branch’, ‘St’, ‘Pd’, or ‘Description’.

Creating Default Customer/Creditor Attachment Sub Folders
We have added the ability to create default customer/creditor attachment sub folders, similar to how we can default the creation of removal, storage and employee subfolders.

– In Codes Management, add a new code of the type ‘Directory’.
– In the code value field, enter the directory name.
– In the default field, enter in C or D depending on whether this folder should be created by default for creditors (C) or debtors (D).

Bug Fix – Fixed bug to show Invoice Date on Closing Accrual Screen


We have rectified the issue in which the System Parameter ”To show Invoice Date field on Accrual screen” is active but the Invoice Date appear on the Closing Accrual screen as blank.

Currently, with this System Paramater enabled, the Closing Accrual screen should display both Uplift Date and Invoice Date fields on large screen resolutions. For smaller resolutions, Moveware should display either the Invoice Date or Uplift Date if the System Parameter is inactive.

– With the System Parameter ”To show Invoice Date field on Accrual screen” active, Accrual shows Invoice Date.

– With the System Parameter ”To show Invoice Date field on Accrual screen” inactive, Accrual shows Uplft Date.

Enable the System Parameter ”To show Invoice Date field on Accrual screen”, then navigate to the Closing Accrual screen. The followings are the correct usage depending on the screen resolution:


1. On large screen resolutions, Accrual should show both Uplift Date and Invoice Date.
2. On small screen resolutions, Accrual should show Uplift Date or Invoice Date, depending on whether the System Paramter is active.

Enhancement – Added Event Log when Updating/Deleting Default Bank Account


We have added the ability to capture an Event Log when a user updates or deletes the Default Bank Account on the Customer Management screen.

Changes made to the Default Bank Account field on the Customer Management screen will be recorded in the  Event Log.

Bug Fix – Capturing event logs when closing accruals from Accrual Management screen
Previously when accruals were closed from the Accrual Management screen, there was no event log captured.

With the 8.8 upgrade, the system will capture an event log of an accrual being closed.


Upon closing the accrual in Accrual Management screen, the user can go to the Removals screen, then select the desired job and click on the Event Log icon. The event will be listed in the table with description indicating that ‘Accrual Status changed from A to C – From Accruals Management Screen’.

Enhancement – Filter CRM by Group
We have added a new filter on the CRM screen for users to filter CRM records using Groups.

With the 8.8 upgrade, a new filter search box will appear above the Group column on the CRM screen. Users can type in or select from the look-up to search for CRM records which belong to a specific group.

Enhancement – Added to Event Log Name of User Logging in and out as Moveware Admin
We have added a new feature to identify the user upon loggin in and out with ”Mwadmin” credentials on a client’s site. The system will create an event log capturing the login/out which also indicates the name of the Moveware staff member using the session.

When logging in to Moveware on a client’s site, a pop-up will appear after a username and password is entered, asking the user to put in their name. The name will then be present in the event log, identifying which Moveware staff member logs in and out of the client’s system.

Enhancement – Add a static attachment to particular types of claims when sending email
We have created the possibility to add a static attachment when sending an email from the Claims screen based on particular types of claims.

Administration > System Setup > Codes Management
Code Type: Claim Attach

This can be set up in Codes Management. Add a new Type of Claim Attach to the Code category. Then create new Claim Attach entries using the claim types as Code Value e.g. Claim and Complaint. In the Comment field, add the path where the attachment should be pulled from.

On the Removals > Claims screen, once a user selects the Email button, the email being sent will automatically retrieve the attachment from the location set in Codes management > Type: Claim Attach > Comment field.

Bug Fix – Reason List for Lost/Cancelled Jobs Restricted by Branch
The Reason list that appears in the ‘Reason for Cancellation’ window when setting a job to Lost/Cancelled, now respects the branch filter.

Previously, the branch filter was ignored and Moveware would list all the reasons entered in Codes Management.


Users can set up the branch filter for each reason in Administration > Codes Management, then change the Type to ‘Win Loss’. Select or add a reason, then in the Branches field add branch(es) to which the reason is applicable. When a job is set to Lost or Cancelled and it belongs to a branch in this field, the reason will be shown, otherwise it will be hidden.

Bug Fix – Single Touch Payroll Previous Year now looks at Payroll Year setup instead of G/L Year setup
Previously when updating a previous FY figures for STP, the system would look at the financial year setup under General Ledger. Instead, it now looks at the Payroll Financial Year setup which means that you cannot make STP submissions/updates without making sure that the Payroll Year is up to date.

When submitting previous FY STP updates, it will automatically calculate the Previous Year using the Payroll FY setup. This means that the Payroll FY setup needs to always be updated to the current Financial Year or the system would not allow you to submit the STP update. Once the Payroll FY setup is correct, submit/update STPs as per usual.

The Bond Register report is now able to display data regarding air shipments.

New System Parameter – Lock the Post as updated Journal checkbox in creditors/debtors
A new System Parameter ”Lock the Post as updated Journal checkbox in creditors / debtor” has been added to lock the ‘Post as Updated’ toggle.

Options: Y (both creditor and debtors screens), C (creditor only), D (debtors only), N (disabled)

Setting this System Parameter to Y will lock the Post as Updated checkbox. This will stop users from modifying the functionality, and the toggle wiil carry its default setting according to the values of two related System Parameters – ‘Post Creditor Payments as Updated in G/L’ and ‘Post Receipts as Updated in G/L’ . For example, if the System Parameter ‘Post Creditor Payments as Updated in G/L’ is active, the ‘Post as Updated’ toggle will always be checked on the Creditor screen.

This System Parameter was designed with several setting options as follows:

1. When set to C, the functionality is enabled for the Creditor screens, the abovementioned toggle will be locked on these screens – Creditor Payment, Electronic Banking, and Cashbook.
2. When set to D, the functionality is enabled for the Debtor screens, the abovementioned toggle will be locked on these screens – Debtors Receipting, Cashbook, and Bank Deposits.
3. When set to Y, the functiinality applies to both Debtor and Creditor screens.

Bug Fix – Fixed Partial Invoice feature to prevent users from copying a Partial Invoice
Previously, when using the Partial Invoice feature, users could ‘copy invoice’ from a partial invoice which resulted in the copied invoice not being linked to the parent invoice.

This has been fixed. We have added a validation which prevents users from copying a partial invoice. Instead, they will have to create a new partial invoice from its parent.


When the Partial Invoice feature is in use and a user attempts to create a new partial invoice from another partial invoice, the validation message which reads ”Copy Cancelled: This is a Partial Invoice. Please create a partial invoice from a parent invoice instead.” will appear. This is to remind users to ensure that a new partial invoice must be copied directly from its parent and to prevent further issues where partial invoices are not properly linked to the commission invoices.

Enhancement – Intercompany Invoicing System Parameter
Previously when System Parameter ”Automatically create Purchase from Intercompany Invoices” was enabled, an Intercompany Sales Invoice Sequence was required for the creation of the Linked Purchase Invoice. The System Parameter has been enhanced and an Intercompany Sales Invoice Sequence is NO Longer required.

3. Creditor Type = Intercompany and linked to its equivalent Debtor Account
4. Creditor Products are Linked to Removal Products
5. System Parameter IntercompanyCreatePurchase set to = Y

If an Intercompany Invoice is created and all the above steps are in place then it will automatically create a Purchase invoice for the receiving company.

Enhancement – added ‘Details’ field in ‘Purchase Approval Required’ notification email


In the ‘Purchase Approval Required for Creditor Purchase’ notification email, previously there was a section titled ‘Details’, this is now renamed as ‘Description’, as it pulls text from the ‘Description’ field into the Purchases screen.

The ‘Details’ section in the email now pulls text from the ‘Details’ field in Purchases screen. The Details section is appended at the end of the email, after the ‘Removals’ section.

These changes are applied when the system is generating the ‘Purchase Approval Required for Creditor Purchase’ notification email.

Bug Fix – Fixed Issue Where Importing Invoice not Flagging Removal Invoice to Y


Previously, when invoices were imported from .CSV files, they would not change the Removal Invoice flag to Y despite the invoices being linked to Jobs/Removals.

This has been fixed.

Import invoices with a CSV file from Invoice Update screen and Moveware will link the invoices to their Jobs/Removals if Removal IDs exist. This will result in Removal Invoice Flag being changed to Y automatically.

Enhancement – New Toggle to Include Purchase Orders Put on Hold


Previously, purchase orders that have been held would appear in the Purchase Orders screen only when checking the ”Include Invoiced POs” toggle.

To avoid confusion and ensure the correct logic is applied, we have added a new toggle called ”Include Hold POs” to the Purchase Orders screen. This new toggle will also include purchase orders on the Hold status in the search.

Navigate to the Orders tab in the Purchase Orders screen. With the 8.8 upgrade, a new toggle called ”Include Hold POs” will appear along with the other two available toggles. The toggle can be used as follows:

– Check this toggle to include held purchase orders from the Orders screen
– Uncheck this toggle to exclude held purchase orders from the Orders screen

We have added a new System Parameter to show/hide HMRC VAT Submission option in the Tax Module screen. Previously, the option was displayed based on the system country.

We have developed a new standard Tax Summary – Excluded Transactions report to show transactions that are flagged as being excluded in the tax summary reporting. This report is useful for auditors to be able to see what transactions were excluded from taxation.

Enhancement – Assign Name Set in Save As Name Field to Purchase/Purchase Order Saved as PDF
We have added the ability to set file name of Purchase or Purchase Order run in PDF after the name specified in the reports’ Save As Name field in Report Configuration.

Save As Name = Blank – File name defaulted to Purchase <Purchase Number> and Purchase Order <Order Number>


In Administration > System Setup > Report Configuration, search for Purchase/Purchase Order. In the ‘Save As Name’ field, add the name you would like the report to be saved as when run in PDF. Please note that Purchase Number or PO Number will always be assigned to the files saved. For example, if in the Save As Name field, a user put ”PO”. Moveware will generate the name ”PO <Order Number>” to the PDF being saved.

When the ‘Save As Name’ field is empty, the system will default file name to ”Purchase <Purchase Number>” and ”Purchase Order <Order Number>”.

Enhancement – Added Purchase Approval Date and Pay Method filters to Purchase Summary report


We have added the following filters to the Purchase Summary report:

1) Purchase Approval Date filter – to show purchases approved in a selected period of time

2) Pay Method filter – to show purchases assigned to creditors with Pay Method that matches the one being filtered for.

Enhancement – Added validation on combined invoices for cost centres which cannot generate invoices from cost option
We have added a validation on combined invoices for cost centres which cannot generate invoices from the cost option. Previously, cost centres which do not have a setting to generate invoice from cost options were allowed to do combined invoices.

Set the below System Parameter to ‘C’ and pick one of the cost centres whose setting ‘Generate Invoices from Cost Options’ is set as ‘N’.

Run the JTC on a removal whose cost centre has the above setting, which will create a cost option.

Click on ‘+’ button to set as combined which will display a validation message that it cannot be combined.

This way only cost options whose cost centres have a valid setting will be able to create an invoice in the Combined Invoicing screen.

Extended System Parameter – Added option ”A” to the ”Charge Line Description Populate from Cost Comments”


Previously the System Parameter ”Charge Line Description Populate from Cost Comments” would only apply to cost lines where the Combine on Quote flag is set to N or I. A new option ”A” has been introduced for this System Parameter so that feature can be applied on all cost lines regardless of what the Combine on Quote flag is set to (subject to the comments field being entered).

This System Parameter can also now be applied based on cost line branch and cost centre (following the standard branch + cost centre System Parameter format).

– The generated invoice charge line description should now inherit from the comments entered against the cost line instead of the cost line description.

We have extended the System Parameter ”Set Diary to Incompleted if a user cancels sending email on completing Diary” to trigger a prompt asking users ”Do you wish to complete the diary action?.

Usually when completing a diary action that is linked to an email report, an email with the ‘Send Email’ window will appear for a user to email the report attached. Previously, if the user cancelled the sending and closed the window, the diary action would be completed witout the email being sent.

With this new prompt, users will be asked after cancelling the email sending if they would still like to complete the diary action. Two options are provided as follows:

Yes = Complete the diary action
No = Do not complete the diary action

A new option of P (Prompt) has been added to the System Parameter ”Set Diary to Incompleted if user cancels sending email on completing Diary”. The followings are the usage of this new option:

1. Complete diary that has an email linked and cancel the email sending.

2. Select Yes/No to the prompt to complete/not complete the diary action.

Enhancement – New Status Filters for Fine Art Inventory
We have added a new combo box to filter status of the items on the Fine Art Inventory screen. This allows users to filter for all fine art inventory or only for items that are on Active or Inactive status. The combo box will appear in two forms depending on the screen resolution.

Previously, Moveware only catered for displaying either inactive fine art inventory items or all items.

Combo Box: Blank – Show all items
Check Boxes: Neither is checked – Show all items


Under the Removals > Inventory tab screen, if the screen resolution is greater than 1440, the combo box will appear above the Ins Value column. This can be used to display active items, inactive items, or all items.

On a smaller screen resolution (1440 or lower), two check boxes will appear next to Ref (the second column). The two check boxes can be used as follows:

– Both boxes unchecked – display all inventory items
– First box checked – display only active items
– Second box checked – display only inactive items

Enhancement – To Colour Storage tab in Removals when Job is linked to Storage
We have added the ability to colour the Storage tab on the Removals screen when a job is linked to a storage account.

On the Removals screen, the Storage will be coloured in red or green in case a job is linked to a storage account and the following conditions are met:

1. If the Storage Account’s status is ‘Active’ or on ‘Hold’, the Storage tab will be coloured in red.

Enhancement – Entering Est Move Date in Quick Job Entry without the ‘/’ Symbol


In Quick Job Enty > Est Move, users can now manually enter the date as numbers without using the ‘/’ symbol to divide date, month, and year. Upon leaving the field, if the value entered can be converted into a valid date format, Moveware will do so automatically by adding the ‘/’ symbol.

Previously, if a user chose to enter the date manually, the system would require it to be entered with ‘/’ symbol or by using the calendar pop-up.

Previously, when invoices were imported from .CSV files, they would not change the Removal Invoice flag to Y despite the invoices being linked to Jobs/Removals.

Bug Fix – Reason List for Lost/Cancelled Jobs Restricted by Branch
The Reason list that appears in the ‘Reason for Cancellation’ window when setting a job to Lost/Cancelled, now respects the branch filter.

Previously, the branch filter was ignored and Moveware would list all the reasons entered in Codes Management.


Users can set up the branch filter for each reason in Administration > Codes Management, then change the Type to ‘Win Loss’. Select or add a reason, then in the Branches field add branch(es) to which the reason is applicable. When a job is set to Lost or Cancelled and it belongs to a branch in this field, the reason will be shown, otherwise it will be hidden.

A new System Parameter has been added, that will only allow users in specified security groups to change the date of an operation diary action in a job on the status Won. If the operation diary action date is empty, users that are not part of the security group can still add the date to the action. The idea is that only authorized users can change the operation diary action date, but anyone can still add a date to the action if it has not had one yet.

Adding images through Object Management
An enhancement has been made to help make the addition of images to objects smoother.  The previous process was identified as inefficient when allocating images to new objects which were yet to have any images allocated.

Previously to allocate an image to an object the user had to:

– double click the image placeholder to open the File Browser dialog
– click the attachment icon to load the Open dialog to select images
– find the image
– select the newly added image in the list
– click the blue tick to make the image the default so it can appear in Object Management
– close the File Browser dialog


The new process can be streamlined as follows. This process happens when the object is yet to have any images allocated:

– Double click the image placeholder to open the File Browser dialog
– the Open dialog is displayed automatically
– find the image (the first image in the list selected will become the default)
– close the File Browser dialog

If there are multiple images added and the first in the list is not the image to display in Object Management, user can select the correct image and hit the blue tick icon to make that image the default. 

If the object already has images, the process will remain unchanged from the previous behaviour.

Enhancement – Added ability to export excel data with xlsx format to reduce the file size


We have added a new export excel output option called ”Data Only (xlsx)” n order to reduce the file size. The output is significantly smaller than the ”Data Only” export.

This is a handy feature for clients who use the excel data only export frequently or in autoschedule reports (to reduce their outlook inbox size).

A report can be set to default to Data Only (xlsx) for all users by adding the filter ”excelxlsx” to the report configuration. It can also be set for the current user by using the ”Save Current report filters and setup” button.

On the Reports screen > Excel Output > you can select the excel output to Data Only (xlsx) by double clicking the ”Excel Output” option to cycle through the available options and run the report with by clicking the Excel icon.

Enhancement – New filter to filter Empty Storage Locations Report Using Location Status
We have added a new report filter called ”locstatus” to filter Location Status when running the Empty Storage Locations report.

In Report Configuration, search for the ”Empty Storage Locations” report. In the Filters field, double-click to trigger the LU-Flilter window and search for a filter called ”locstatus”. After adding the new ”locstatus” code to the report’s  Filters field, navigate to the Reports screen and find the ”Empty Storage Locations” report under the Storage tab. A new field named ”Location Status” should appear allowing users to filter the report with active or inactive locations.

In Reports, we have added new options to the Timeframe combo-box for users to select ‘All to Last Month’ or ‘This Month-to-all’.

In Reports, when ‘All to Last Month’ is selected, the date range will start from 01/01/90 to last day of the previous month.  On the other hand, when ‘This Month-to-all’ is selected, the date range will start from start of this month to 01/01/40.

Please also note that setting Moveware PDF as your default Crystal Report-to-PDF converter will bring the side effect that the exported PDF reports will not be put automatically in the folder defaulted for each employee to store the PDF files saved from Moveware. The user will have to specifiy the destination folder each time the PDF file is saved.

Also, if the System Parameter is set to M to use the Moveware PDF, a report filter ”pdfusesmwpdfno” can be added to reports in Report Configuration so they still use normal Microsoft PDF as the converter.

Enhancement – Report name toggle and more column filters in Report Schedule tab


In Administration > System Setup > Report Configuration > Scheduled tab, a new toggle box is added in the table header, beside the ‘Report’ title. This allows users to toggle between the actual report name and the Saved/Default report name. New search filters are also added for the ‘Format’, ‘Output’ and ‘Email To’ columns.

On the Report Configuration screen, go to the ‘Scheduled’ Tab, check the toggle box to see the Saved/Default report name. If the report has not been saved with a unique default name before, the result will just display the actual name.

On the Reports screen, users can now perform a wildcard search of report names by using ‘*’ in the search box.

On the Reports screen > Search box, do a wildcard search by starting with ‘*’. For example, type in ‘*customer’, and Moveware will return results that includes reports with ”customer” in their titles such as ‘Invoice Summary by Customer’ and ‘Customer Listing’. If ‘*’ is not used, then it will only return ‘Customer Listing’.

We have added the ability to set file name of Purchase or Purchase Order run in PDF after the name specified in the reports’ Save As Name field in Report Configuration.

In Administration > System Setup > Report Configuration, search for Purchase/Purchase Order. In the ‘Save As Name’ field, add the name you would like the report to be saved as when run in PDF. Please note that Purchase Number or PO Number will always be assigned to the files saved. For example, if in the Save As Name field, a user put ”PO”. Moveware will generate the name ”PO <Order Number>” to the PDF being saved.

When the ‘Save As Name’ field is empty, the system will default file name to ”Purchase <Purchase Number>” and ”Purchase Order <Order Number>”.

The ‘Details’ section in the email now pulls text from the ‘Details’ field in Purchases screen. The Details section is appended at the end of the email, after the ‘Removals’ section.

We have created the possibility to add a static attachment when sending an email from the Claims screen based on particular types of claims.

On the Removals > Claims screen, once a user selects the Email button, the email being sent will automatically retrieve the attachment from the location set in Codes management > Type: Claim Attach > Comment field.

Bug Fix – Fixed Partial Invoice feature to prevent users from copying a Partial Invoice
Previously, when using the Partial Invoice feature, users could ‘copy invoice’ from a partial invoice which resulted in the copied invoice not being linked to the parent invoice.

This has been fixed. We have added a validation which prevents users from copying a partial invoice. Instead, they will have to create a new partial invoice from its parent.


When the Partial Invoice feature is in use and a user attempts to create a new partial invoice from another partial invoice, the validation message which reads ”Copy Cancelled: This is a Partial Invoice. Please create a partial invoice from a parent invoice instead.” will appear. This is to remind users to ensure that a new partial invoice must be copied directly from its parent and to prevent further issues where partial invoices are not properly linked to the commission invoices.

Bug Fix – Single Touch Payroll Previous Year now looks at Payroll Year setup instead of G/L Year setup
Previously when updating a previous FY figures for STP, the system would look at the financial year setup under General Ledger. Instead, it now looks at the Payroll Financial Year setup which means that you cannot make STP submissions/updates without making sure that the Payroll Year is up to date.

When submitting previous FY STP updates, it will automatically calculate the Previous Year using the Payroll FY setup. This means that the Payroll FY setup needs to always be updated to the current Financial Year or the system would not allow you to submit the STP update. Once the Payroll FY setup is correct, submit/update STPs as per usual.

We have rectified the issue in which the System Parameter ”To show Invoice Date field on Accrual screen” is active but the Invoice Date appear on the Closing Accrual screen as blank.

Currently, with this System Paramater enabled, the Closing Accrual screen should display both Uplift Date and Invoice Date fields on large screen resolutions. For smaller resolutions, Moveware should display either the Invoice Date or Uplift Date if the System Parameter is inactive.

– With the System Parameter ”To show Invoice Date field on Accrual screen” active, Accrual shows Invoice Date.
– With the System Parameter ”To show Invoice Date field on Accrual screen” inactive, Accrual shows Uplft Date.

Enable the System Parameter ”To show Invoice Date field on Accrual screen”, then navigate to the Closing Accrual screen. The followings are the correct usage depending on the screen resolution:

1. On large screen resolutions, Accrual should show both Uplift Date and Invoice Date.
2. On small screen resolutions, Accrual should show Uplift Date or Invoice Date, depending on whether the System Paramter is active.

Bug Fix – Capturing event logs when closing accruals from Accrual Management screen
Previously when accruals were closed from the Accrual Management screen, there was no event log captured.

With the 8.8 upgrade, the system will capture an event log of an accrual being closed.


Upon closing the accrual in Accrual Management screen, the user can go to the Removals screen, then select the desired job and click on the Event Log icon. The event will be listed in the table with description indicating that ‘Accrual Status changed from A to C – From Accruals Management Screen’.
