Send Email in Moveware

The ‘send email’ icon [] is visible throughout Moveware.  When clicked, an email editor opens, allowing an email to be typed and sent.


The Email Window 

To the left of the To: field, there is a checkbox for “Require Read Receipt” [], and a book icon [] which opens an Address book containing all email addresses currently stored in the database.

Below the Subject line is a group of icons for editing font, adding tables, and other common icons similar to what you would see in Word or Outlook.  Hover your mouse over an icon for a Tooltip describing its function.

To the left of the message body are 3 icons: 

[] This icon allows you to quickly add blocks of text or commonly used phrases.  In Moveware, these are referred to as “Paragraphs”.  Paragraphs can be added to the list through Adminstration > Moveware Setup > Paragraphs.  Click a Paragraph and click OK to add it to your email.

[] Run a spellcheck using this icon.

[] Mark an email as being ‘high priority’ or ‘high importance’ using this icon.

Below the email body, there are two shortcuts to add Attachments.  This icon [] will open the directory within the Job, Employee or any other record that you are currently viewing.  This icon [] will open the directory of your computer, to attach a file from any folder.

The signature dropdown will list the available signatures.  If Moveware is connected to your Outlook, this will display your Outlook signatures.  Choose an option from this list to add a signature to the email.

Click the Send button on the top right to send the email.
