Jobs – Details


How to Access Job Details

  1. Click on the Jobs menu.
  2. Search for and Select the Job you are looking for.
  3. Click on the Details Tab.

What is the Details Tab?

The Details Tab is where you will create new jobs and review and enter information about existing jobs. It also contains information about Customers, which provides a comprehensive, maintainable record of client and billing information. Job details are also used to categorize a job and determine how Moveware should handle the job as it progresses through the Job Life Cycle.

The information entered in the Details tab of the Jobs Management module includes:

  • Job Status 
  • Customer Details
  • Load and Delivery details, including addresses, access specifications, distances, and map references
  • Type of job, volume, insurance details, and referral information
  • Contact information  
  • Survey date, time, and staff information
  • Special instructions, notes, and comments

The Details Tab Interface

The Details Tab interface is divided into sections to assist in the process of entering and locating specific information about a Job. Refer to the numbers in the list below for more detail on the above diagram:

  1. Job reference information 
  2. The Moveware Smart Panel. Used to Add a new Job, or Save changes.
  3. A summary of current Job Cost Options and Invoices.
  4. The Moveware Document Print Toolbar.
  5. Transferee Origin and Destination information.
  6. “Bill To” information regarding the Customer paying for the Job. If Stripe is enabled on your system, you will also see the Green $ which will allow users to take a payment against a job.
  7. The Origin, Destination, and Booking Agents, and the Corporate Account involved in the Job.
  8. Internal Notes and Crew Notes. 
  9. Additional details, including important items such as: Job Status, dates, volume, weight, staff members assigned to the job, and more.
