Add a Sell Price

When an estimate cost has been entered for a cost line, the same value will automatically populate in the sell price (Sell) column; however, you can modify this value as needed by following the instructions below.

How to Add a Sell Price to a Cost Line

  1. Navigate to the Costing Tab.
  2. Select the relevant Cost Option.
  3. Select the relevant charge line.
  4. Enter the appropriate cell price value in the “Sell” column.

Alternatively: You can enter values in the Quantity, Rate, Profit, and/or Markup columns and Moveware will calculate the appropriate sell price for you.

Note: The amount added above will be added to the One Total Value (Pink Line).

The Option Total Line (the Pink Line):

The pink line/Option Total line now provides us with a total of all cost lines above it. This is normally the concept we sell to our clients, in some cases called “Export services”, “Origin Services”, “International Services”, and so on.

Extra Charges:

Any cost lines added below the pink line will be presented as extra charges in a quote or invoice.

How to Add a Sell Price to the Option Total Line

The Option Total sell price can be overridden by the user. For instance, if the Option Total amount begins at $5000, the user could delete that number and enter $6000. The Sell Prices of the lines above the Option Total will not be affected. Instead, the $1000 will display in the Profit Margin line directly above the Option Total line.

  1. Select the Option Total Line (the Pink Line).
  2. Add the Sell value.
  3. The system will calculate the job profit or loss based on the previously entered costs and sell prices.
