Link Corporate Accounts

New or existing Corporate Accounts can be linked to a parent account in the Details tab of the CRM module. There are 2 ways of linking a corporate account.


How to Link a Corporate Account

Option 1

  1. Select the required account in the Search tab of the CRM module (see Searching for Corporate Accounts)

  2. Click on the Parent company you are searching for.  Click the Link Accounts button at the bottom of the Search tab to link its children.



    3. Select to update the Corporate or Price links (or both). Updating the Corporate links the child and parent as entities that have a parent/child relationship.  Updating the Price forces the children to use the same rates/pricing as its parent.  Click Continue.

    4. Select an account to link to from the Lookup window and click OK.The child will now display on the Search as indented beneath its parent:


Option 2

  1. Select the Child account in the Search tab of the CRM module (see Searching for Corporate Accounts).

  2. In the Details tab of the CRM module, click the Corporate Customer  button next to the CRM field.
  3. Select the parent company for the account from the Corporate Lookup window and click OK.

  4. Click Save at the top of the CRM Listing window.To remove a Parent, click the red arrow to the right of the button highlighted above.  The icon will no longer be red after the parent account is removed.
